Would You Ever Guess Wednesday

Today is Wednesday at My Cricut Craft Room
and you know what that means......

I am happy to present my first Design Team project for My Cricut Craft Room. A pendant using the "Stand and Salute" cartridge. Would you ever guess that?

I took this opportunity to create it in honor of Autism Awareness Month and my beautiful son who is Autistic.

I cut the awareness ribbon frame on page 31 at 1 3/4" (real dial size) four times using cardboard from a Coke 20 pack carton then  inked the edges of each one a different color. Red, blue and yellow the colors in the Autism Awareness Ribbon.  I then inked the top layer with all three colors, blending them. Next I inserted his photo between 2 layers and finished it off with Glossy Accents on the top layer to give it some shine, attached a silver bail and chain. There you have it, a quick and easy pendant using your Cricut machine.

Here is another version that I made into a refrigerator magnet,
     it's cut at 3".

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I hope I inspired you today!

Don't forget to go to Ericas Craft Room to see projects from the other team members!
